Half Day Sessions 9:15 - 1:00 |
-
Students attend five days a week for the school year calendar, which runs
late August through the month of May.
-
Children will work in the Montessori classroom with a balance of
structured group activities and individual work time.
-
The children benefit from the interaction of the diverse ages in the group
while developing respect for others and self-confidence in a learning
environment.
Children need to be toilet trained and usually begin the half-day session at
three-three and a half years old. They are included in the lunch program as
a beneficial application of the Practical Life curriculum where students
learn how to master daily living or self help skills.

|
Full Day 8:30 - 3:00 |
-
The mixed age classrooms of ages 3-6 (including Kindergarten) afford the
opportunity for children to nurture and teach one another, and to assume
leadership and guidance roles.
-
Small group and individualized instruction along with open ended work
times teach the children to develop concentration, make choices and
begin to learn to manage portions of their time.
Second year students are strongly encouraged to attend the full day program
from 8:30 – 3:00.
|
|
Extended 7:00 - 5:30 |
-
The extended hour session is designed to meet the needs of working
parents. Available hours are 7:00-5:30 depending on the parent’s
work schedule.
-
Children benefit from additional group activities, large and small muscle
games and fun with each other.

|
Elementary (grades 1-5) 8:15 - 3:15 |
|
Montessori global studies curriculum integrates all subject areas.
Studying other countries and cultures leads to a sense of mutual
understanding, helping children to view themselves and their community in
relation to the larger world. |
